From birds flying high to emanating water droplets, this year has seen our talented team deliver some of our most imaginative and fulfilling work yet. As we take a look back at some of the bespoke lighting commissions we’ve created over the past 12 months, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has continued to support us in 2020. We look forward to 2021 and sharing the exciting projects we have underway.
From all of us at Nulty Bespoke, we wish you a safe and joyful festive season.
South of France Villa: Contemporary Chandelier
Working in partnership with the interior designer, we designed and manufactured a lighting installation using triangular crystal pieces from the client’s old chandelier. The upcycled elements form the essence of a completely new and contemporary design that hangs in the villa’s luxurious salon. Discover more here.
Southbank Place Spa: Droplet-inspired Chandeliers
Two beautifully crafted chandeliers were created for the spa of a new luxury residential development alongside the River Thames. We were asked by the interior designers, Goddard Littlefair, to use water as the inspiration behind the design; the final works include handcrafted components shaped liked droplets and light patterns that mimic ripples in water. Four Seasons Hotel London: Perla Pendant
A delicate scattering of dappled colour within the handcrafted glass shades of the Perla pendant is the perfect accompaniment to LINLEY’S interior scheme for The Thames Penthouse. The custom-made pendant flows across the ceiling of the entertaining space to create an elegant, timeless focal point. Discover more here.
Private Residential Development: Glass Birds Sculptural Installation
The intricate installation we developed for the curved stairwell of a private residential development symbolically represents strength in numbers and the complexities of bird flight. A mass of bird-like hand-blown glass elements soars above the space glistening in suspended glory. Discover more here.
Creative Concepts
The nature of our work means that we’re constantly responding to a diverse range of briefs, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the artistry and technicality at the heart of our bespoke service (find out more about that here). This year brought a number of exciting new projects to the drawing board, so we’ve handpicked three of our favourite concepts and provided a brief insight into the detail behind the design.
